7. Golden Girls

Message in a bottle is a song about an exciting feeling you get when you’re really in love with someone. It’s super fun to dance to. I Bet You Think About Me is fucking savage. Taylor absolutely destroyed the person that this song is about. The country vibes are fucking here. Forever Winter is sad. It’s about wanting to help someone who you know is deeply struggling. Run is about two friends running away together. It’s really wholesome. The Very First Night is a song about wanting to go back in time. Oh, the wonders. Am I right? And the last song. All Too Well (10 Minute Version) This song broke me, made me appreciate every fucking moment, made me scream, cry, smile, and laugh with excitement all at once. I was really sad a few weeks after this song came out and I used to cry to this. But, before that; I heard this song for the first time on November 12th, 2021 12:09 AM. The Opening: I heard it come on, her new vocals. The different instrumental reminded me of the old one, somehow. The Middle: She says “And you were tossing me the car keys, “fuck the patriarchy” I screamed so loud. “Key chain on the ground, we were always skipping town” Didn’t understand it, I was so shocked and stunned at the fact that there is more added to the song. The Second Chorus: “You kept me like a secret but I kept you like an oath, sacred prayer and we’d swear to remember it all too well” This line, oh my fucking god. I lost my shit. And then there’s a third bridge and a 2-minute long outro. It is one of the most beautiful songs and experiences of mine. Taylor, I love you.

Chapter Five: Bright Accounts

Bright accounts. Accounts that you look back on with joy. Bright accounts are one of the most interesting and beautiful out of all accounts. I love the feeling they give me. Good things in the past are always bright, but what makes them bright is the passion in looking back. These accounts, all of them: are yours. Think of a few bright accounts in your past. You can also share bright accounts with friends, family, past lovers, cousins, and even strangers. For example, I went to a winter show once and there were a lot of people there. I didn’t know them, but we all shared that memory. There are three things that make a person happy. 1. Love- again: friends, family, lovers, cousins and even strangers 2. Excitement- Being excited to go out, being excited to wake up, being excited to go to your job, being excited about small things like breakfast or your favorite singer dropping a new song. Excitement is a privilege. 3. Praise- receiving praise makes everyone happy. It makes you feel like you are doing something right. It makes you feel a tiny bit superior. It makes you feel… bright.
