It is absolutely gut-wrenching, but it also makes you think. The song 22 is an idea that Taylor got on a plane. It’s about Taylor's summer with her friends and it’s a really fun song about being in your twenties and just like, not knowing anything and having fun regardless. I Almost Do is a song Taylor wrote about the conflict of deciding whether you should take someone back that you really love or let go. We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together was a song Taylor wrote based on a conversation she had. Her producer Max Martin told her that it HAS TO BE A SONG because it was so catchy just to say… “we are never ever getting back together” Stay Stay Stay is a song Taylor wrote based on what she’s seen in real relationships. She says: “ It is a song I wrote based on what I’ve seen in real relationships where it's not perfect, there are moments where you are just so sick of that person and you get into a stupid fight, it’s still worth it to stay in it.” Obviously, it’s a very light-hearted song, and if you love someone, you’re not going to agree on everything… (Small things.) The Last Time is sad. It’s sort of like “I Almost Do” but sadder. It’s a really wonderfully produced song and it’s super intense. Holy Ground is a song Taylor wrote after years had gone by and she finally appreciated a past relationship. It’s super fun and I love it. Sad Beautiful Tragic is a song Taylor wrote on a tour bus while she was on

tour. It’s a song reflecting on something that is lost. It’s a beautiful song. The Lucky One is a song Taylor wrote while she was in Australia. It’s a song about her fears in Hollywood. She is telling someone else’s story as well. Everything Is Changed is a song Taylor wrote with Ed Sheeren. This song is about meeting someone and it changing the way you look at everything. The music video is about two children at school and it’s so fucking cute. Starlight is a song Taylor wrote after looking at a picture of Ethel and Bobby Kennedy. She just loved and wrote a song about what their night might have been like. She ended up meeting Ethel and played this song for her. Begin Again is a song Taylor wrote about feeling insecure about all the things that being hurt in the past has made you feel were wrong with you. It’s about letting go of that feeling and starting again. The Moment I Knew is a song Taylor wrote about her 21st birthday party. It’s one of the most heartbreaking songs. It’s about her waiting for the person she loves to come and they don’t, but the song goes a lot deeper than that. The song is about the feeling you get when you realize that you are an option for someone, instead of having the precedence that you give them. This song is super intense and emotional and gets me choked up every fucking time. Come back… be here is a song about missing someone. That’s about it. Girl At Home: Don’t cheat. Ronan is a song Taylor wrote about a little boy she knew, who passed away from Cancer. This is the most important song on Red (Taylor’s Version) it wasn’t originally supposed to be on the album, but when re-recorded she put Ronan on it. I cry every time. Better Man is the best fucking song ever. It’s about so many emotions; regret, pain, reminiscence, bravery, and sadness. It’s wonderful and sadly so relatable for so many people. Nothing New is a song about the fear of growing up-, more importantly, the fear of the person you love and the people that look up to you, getting bored of you. It reminds me of so much sadness from December. I cried. Babe: Don’t cheat.
