Created by artist Frederic Amat, it features hundreds of glass eyes embedded in the wall, giving the building a unique and slightly surreal look. The eyes, scattered across the white surface, create a whimsical yet watchful vibe, blending modern art with the historical surroundings of the Gothic Quarter.

La Casa de la Seda (The House of Silk) is the only guild house in Barcelona that is still open to the public. This 18th-century Baroque beauty was once the home of the influential Guild of Silk Makers, one of the wealthiest merchant groups in the city. It was declared a National Cultural Heritage site in 1919. At first glance, the façade stands out with its beautiful sgraffito decoration.
Just behind is the beautiful Palau de la Música Catalana.
PALAU DE LA MÚSICA CATALANA
The Palau de la Música Catalana is an architectural gem of Art Nouveau and has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997. The Concert Hall is a magnificent masterpiece, bringing together several decorative arts: sculpture, mosaic, stained glass, and ironwork.
