Paramount Pictures Presents

FOOTLOOSE Premiering Friday, October 14th

THIS FOOTLOOSE REMAKE PAYS ALL THE proper credit to the phenomenal original story, characters, and soundtrack, while simultaneously revamping to a modern, relatable, and inspiring experience. This week, the Exec team of FAB: Fashion & Business had the opportunity for prime press seats at a FOOTLOOSE pre-screening – and we cannot wait to see it again! FOOTLOOSE, written and directed by Craig Brewer, stars the magnificent Ren MacCormack (played by newcomer Kenny Wormald) who is transplanted from Boston to the small southern town of Bomont. There he experiences the southern sincerity and good people that makes us want to roadtrip to Georgia, but also a place forbidding loud music and dancing. A few years prior to Ren’s arrival, the small community was rocked by a tragic accident that killed five high school seniors after a night out and Bomont’s local councilmen, and the beloved Reverend Shaw Moore (Dennis Quaid), responded by implementing ordinances that prohibit loud music and dancing. A sweetheart rebel with all the right intentions that made our hearts throb, Ren challenges the ban and revitalizing the town. This movie was filled with lit up mason jars, well-worn jeans, southern accents, dirt roads, real emotion, and a pulsing soundtrack.
