Myths and Monsters Family-friendly exhibition in Victoria Art Gallery in Bath. It links the world of literature, art and myth with some of the very best (and worst) you could expect to meet. Star contributors range from Axel Scheffler to Michael Foreman, and from Cressida Cowell to Victoria Topping. Some monsters have escaped to the city. Search for them on a free immersive trail around Bath. Plus: Bronwyn Williams-Ellis: Mythical Beasts Past & Present The lively and colourful beasts painted onto ceramic dishes featured in this show by the Bathbased artist have been conceived as partners to the adjoining Myths & Monsters exhibition. Songlines: Tracking the Seven Sisters Colourful and vibrant exhibition of Aboriginal Australian Art for all ages in the Box Museum in Plymouth. With over 300 paintings and objects by more than 100 artists. The centre piece of the exhibition is a digital dome experience which immerses audiences in the rich landscapes and culture of Australia. Audiences are invited to lie on the ground and look up at the ceiling of the dome and star gaze where a circular film of the Australian skies, landscapes, it’s art and its history is projected.

Peak Through the Wardrobe Make a trip to Milsom Place, Milsom Street, Bath and follow the paw prints to discover a vision of Narnia. A diorama will transport viewers into a magical world complete with a life-size lion accompanied by his faithful animal companions, the witch’s throne and, of course, the essential wardrobe.

You will be able to see how some of the rooms in the house are used today, as offices, conservation studios, and many other uses, giving you an insight into what goes on behind the scenes to care for Stourhead House and its collection. The Blackdown Hills: A Photographic Portrait Exhibition in Somerset Rural Life Museum bringing together over 50 photographs by Somerset-based photographer Pauline Rook. It includes a selection of her most recent work, captured using the infrared techniques she began to learn during lockdown.

The Adoption Donkey Top Trumps Trail Discover who comes out on top in this head-to-head game at The Donkey Sanctuary in Sidmouth. Do you know which adoption donkey has the loudest bray, who is the most playful and who has the largest ears? They have scored the adoption donkeys against eight different donkey stats and the aim of the game is to find out who trumps whom in each head-tohead round. Simply follow the trail to find the giant Top Trumps cards located around the sanctuary and reveal which adoption donkey comes out on top in each round. Once you have completed all eight rounds, head to the Gift Shop to collect your prize. £5 per trail, pick up a sheet from the Gift Shop. There will also be daily talks and donkeys to meet.

Wind in the Willows Sculpture Trail In conjunction with the Brewhouse Theatre, Coates English Willow have created 12 willowy Wind in the Willow Sculptures to find. At Stoke Road, Stoke St Gregory.

From 10am to 3pm, £4.50, tickets can be bought at the door.

Shoephoria! A display at the Fashion Museum in Bath showcasing highlights of the museum’s world-class shoe collection. Showcasing 350 pairs of boots and shoes, it traces the evolution of shoe style over the last 300 years. From the oldest shoes in the collection to sneakers and trainers from the 2000s and from shoes belonging to Queen Mary and Queen Victoria.

The People’s Tour Learn about the incredible humans behind the rich history of Bristol Old Vic. Inspired by the people, performers and players who have walked the boards through two and a half centuries, learn about the productions that made history. It combines myth, fact and Bristolian folklore, as experienced tour guides expertly weave past and present into a thrilling and informative experience. Book Fair Browse the books from 12pm Abbey House, Glastonbury Abbey for a bargain. Enjoy a cup of tea in the sitting room of this historic early 19th century residence and a short talk about the history of Abbey House taking place at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm. Refreshments available.
