hile tuning into the Divine for your message today, dear heart, your angels want you to remember that you are a precious child of God. They want you to remember that you are a delight, a joy, a precious and beloved child of the Divine. How often we forget our precious nature, the innocence and the wonder we used to have in the world before the weight of our earthly responsibilities burdened us. If it has been way too long since you have delighted in your day like a child, with exuberance and joy, let today be the day you take a few moments to reflect on the goodness of a childhood delight. What did you love to do as a child? Did you love to play outside? Did you love to draw? Did you love to make music or play with your pet? Chances are those delights are still buried deep within, waiting for you to treat yourself as a precious child once more and let yourself have a childhood experience once again. We all have an inner child within who is screaming for our attention. Let’s pamper or indulge our inner child today. Yes, let’s celebrate our inner child as a sacred self-care ritual. I invite you to gather a picture of yourself as a small child and spend some time reflecting upon what you enjoyed as that small child. I have a picture from kindergarten that I use for this time of reflection. I can remember how I felt when that picture was taken, the color of my outfit (back in the days of black and white photography), and what I enjoyed back then. Chances are, you, too, will benefit from reflecting upon those days and honoring your inner precious child, as well.
