Working with one of our nationwide house builders, we completed this project consisting of 81 units. The program was tight, especially at year end and half year end (June & December).

The scaffold was built progressively in 4 lifts, plus gable ends with gable end edge protection. Each block was fitted with a loading bay with rubbish chute and site staircase. The loading bay requirement was for a SWL of 15.0KN/M² UDL – which is our standard heavy-duty loading bay design for house builds. Birdcage scaffolds were installed to each floor level, with back propping to the underside of the joists on the first & second floors.

Following the successful completion of this project we are now working on phase 2 of the program with confirmation of phase 3. Our house building division prides itself on quality, health and safety and tidiness.
