EXTRA: You play Bonito. What do you like the most about the character? Carlos Ponce: He is a lot of fun. He is a walking contradiction. He is a big guy with the big boys but [he is also] sensitive and he is afraid of being a rat. It’s kind of funny. necessarily a fairy movie. How do you feel playing in an animated movie, especially one like “The Pirate Fairy”? I love it. It is definitely my favorite thing to do. My top three in the entertainment world. I have four kids, five with my girlfriend’s. They watched the movie and they were cracking up. I love it when they make fun of me. What is your favorite animation and why? Disney has so many. I actually own a whole collection. I have pretty much all of them. I am a huge fan of Disney. Peter Pan is one of those

Hay aventura, drama en estilo animación. Si uno quiere disfrutar una buena película familiar – es ésta. all times classics. Would you like to play Peter Pan? (Laughs) I am too old but I would love to. What is your dream character to play? For some reason because of my baritone tone, I play the bad guys. I would like to play someone that is not so bad, someone good, maybe the king of something not the prince charming. What can you say to families that want to see the “The Pirate Fairy”? It’s got everything. You have the adventure, the drama in animation style. If you want to enjoy a good family movie – this is it. I even put on a few pounds for the role (laughs). What future projects are you working on? I am heading over to Budapest for a small role in a Fox movie. Q
