HA SIDO TODO UN VIAJE IT’S BEEN QUITE A JOURNEY El próximo mes celebraremos 20 años desde el nacimiento de SkyTeam. Fundada el 22 de junio en Nueva York, la alianza SkyTeam comenzó con cuatro aerolíneas: Aeroméxico, Air France, Delta y Korean Air. Juntos ofrecieron 6,402 vuelos diarios a 451 destinos en 98 países, y más destinos sin escalas entre Estados Unidos y Europa que cualquier otra alianza en el momento del lanzamiento. Fue impresionante en ese entonces, pero una gota en el océano comparada con quienes somos hoy en 2020.
Next month we will celebrate 20 years since the birth of SkyTeam. Founded on June 22nd in New York, SkyTeam began with four airlines: Aeromexico, Air France, Delta and Korean Air. Together they offered 6,402 daily flights to 451 destinations in 98 countries, and more non-stop destinations between the United States and Europe than any other alliance at the time of launch. It was impressive then, but a drop in the ocean to who we are today in 2020.

SkyTeam now has 19 member airlines, operating 15,445 daily departures to 1,036 destinations in over 170 countries. No matter how farflung your destination, SkyTeam’s network can get you there. In the intervening 20 years, we’ve also launched eight SkyTeam lounges and opened up access to more than 790 lounges internationally.
