A Pupil Perspective
Over the last year, I have greatly enjoyed psychology as a subject. Although restricted due to the Covid-19 pandemic, many lessons have managed to be interactive, allowing the class a fun, hands-on learning experience. It has been these mini experiments that have made the subject for me, creating many memorable experiences along the way

y favourite of these experiments has to be the egg project. This was when we were each given an egg to look after for a week, taking it everywhere with us and attempting to form an attachment with it. Although many people were doubtful, the majority of the class did indeed form an attachment. I personally did form at least somewhat of an attachment with my egg (Julian), which I believe was due to the amount of
time spent with it. I took my egg everywhere, to school every morning, to the gym and even into town. Another memorable experiment was when we did a copy of Ashe’s line study, to test the effects involving conformity. Although as a class we messed up the experiment, it was a great fun experience which definitely has helped in remembering the procedure of the study in an enjoyable, interactive manner.
