Brought up in Marbella, Jorge is educated as an architect in the Universidad Politecnica de Madrid, returning to the Costa del Sol at the end of 2002 to join the prestigious architecture practice MS Design where, during his studies, he had performed some summer stages and where he will begin his formation as an architect adopting the compromise with quality in design and execution that distinguishes this practice.

At the end of 2003, he will establish his own practice as a team with technical architect Vicente Ruiz Fernández, with the target of specializing in high-end residential projects, dedicating all the necessary time and efforts to care and pamper each home, both in the design and the building phases, with the vocation of architecture craftsmen.

He will cross paths with prominent norwegian project manager, Svein Finstad, and together they will develop several relevant villa projects in Marbella, Norway and Domenican Republic. From Svein he will adopt the high levels of demands in quality and finishings and the tight control of the project from all perspectives and scales, from the most general to the smallest details, from the more pragmatic decissions to the importance of the design and, always, with the clear target that the ultimate objective of our craft is to create a real home to the measure of the family who will inhabit it.

At JRW Arquitectura we don’t work for our own ego but for our client, we have a vision of architecture that seeks for its integration in the environment, the use of natural materials, noble, with texture, authentic, with references to the local south mediterranean architecture from a contemporary revision, proportioned and human scale spaces (the bigger, the higher,…, is not necessarily the better for a home), looking for warm, elegant, natural and calm ambiences, in which landscaping plays a role of great importance, extending the interior spaces to the outdoors in a fluid and natural way.

JRW Arquitectura is a practice with a multidisciplinary team and a trusted net of collaborators with whom they work shoulder to shoulder to develop high-end singular residential projects including different scales and both new build and full renovations, but always committed with the best quality architecture in design and execution, and seeking for it to be timeless, serene, warm, noble, charmful and adapted to the client’s needs.

HOGARES CON ALMA Y ENCANTO by JRW Arquitectura

Tras pasar su infancia en Marbella, Jorge se forma como arquitecto en la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, volviendo a la Costa del Sol a finales de 2002 para incorporarse al prestigioso estudio de arquitectura MS Design donde, durante la carrera, había realizado varias prácticas estivales y en el que comienza su aprendizaje en el oficio de arquitecto e interioriza el compromiso con la calidad en el diseño y ejecución que caracteriza a este estudio.

A finales de 2003, abre estudio propio formando equipo con el arquitecto técnico Vicente Ruiz Fernández, ambos con el objetivo de especializarse en proyectos residenciales de alta calidad, dedicando el tiempo y esfuerzo necesarios para cuidar y desarrollar cada vivienda tanto en su fase de proyecto como durante su ejecución, con vocación de artesanos de la arquitectura.

Se cruza en su camino el del destacado project manager noruego Svein Finstad, con el que desarrolla proyectos de viviendas unifamiliares relevantes tanto en Marbella como en Noruega y la República Dominicana, y del que adopta sus altos niveles de exigencia y el control del proyecto desde todas las perspectivas y escalas,

de lo más general al menor de los detalles, de las decisiones más pragmáticas a la importancia del diseño y, siempre, con la vista puesta en el verdadero objetivo de nuestro oficio, crear un verdadero hogar a la medida de la familia que lo va a habitar. En JRW Arquitectura no trabajamos para nuestro ego sino para nuestro cliente, tenemos una visión de la arquitectura que busca su integración en el entorno, el uso de materiales naturales, nobles, con textura, auténticos, con referencias a la arquitectura local del sur del mediterráneo desde una revisión contemporánea, espacios proporcionados y acordes a la escala humana (cuanto más grande, cuanto más alto,…, no es necesariamente mejor para un hogar), buscando un ambiente cálido, elegante, natural y calmado en el que el paisajismo es de gran importancia, extendiendo los espacios interiores al exterior de una manera natural y fluida.

A día de hoy el estudio JRW Arquitectura cuenta con un equipo multidisciplinar y una red de colaboradores de confianza con los que trabaja codo con codo para desarrollar proyectos residenciales de obra nueva y reformas integrales de diferentes escalas, siempre comprometidos con una arquitectura de calidad, atemporal, serena, cálida y adaptada al cliente.
