We provide a range of live remote training opportunities run weekly and termly throughout the year to support you in your roles.

EVC Training

Snowsport Visits Training

This course, delivered remotely will provide you will the full EVC Training as recommended by the Department for Education.

6 GLH

This remote course for all staff involved in organising or accompanying snowsport visits (but not instructing, leading or supervising on snow) 4 GLH

Risk Assessment Training

EVOLVE System Training

This course will show Visit Leaders, Assistant Leaders and EVCs how to conduct a risk assessment using the STAGED approach.

2 GLH

The course covers all user aspects of the EVOLVE system and how to get the most from the system. It is not a substitute for EVC or Visit Leader training. This course is focused full on the practical use of EVOLVE.

ADVICE

e-Learning Courses Visit Leader e-Learning This course seeks to give Visit Leaders a better understanding of: the purpose of educational visits; legal expectations; planning and risk management; evaluation and monitoring.

Preventing and Managing Visits Emergencies This e-learning course is aimed at anyone involved in school visits from Senior Leaders through to visit leaders themselves. This course will help the SLT to understand what might be expected of the visit leadership team and the support that should be made available to them from the school. This will help ensure that all employees know what is expected of them and what they can expect from other team members in the event of an incident.
