THE BOX OFFICE

You can book online 24 hours a day at www.alban-arena.co.uk. The Box Office phones lines are currently open Mon-Sat 10am-2pm. On performance days the box office will open for in person bookings a minimum of 90 minutes before the start of the show until 15 minutes after curtain up.

METHODS OF PAYMENT

Please be aware we only take cash payments at certain designated tills. Visa, MasterCard and Maestro are accepted. We do not accept Amex. Alban Arena vouchers are also accepted. E-tickets are available at the time of purchase or can be held at the Box Office for collection.

RESERVATIONS

Tickets may be reserved for 5 working days, without payment, subject to availability but must be confirmed with payment or cancelled no later than 7 days before the performance. Any unpaid tickets not confirmed by this time will be released for sale.

BABES IN ARMS

Under 18 months are generally only admitted for children’s shows and at our discretion. Theatre policy is no under 5’s unless a family show. Tickets are required to be purchased for ages 18 months and over, unless specifies otherwise.

REFUND & RESALES

We regret that tickets cannot be refunded unless a performance is postponed or cancelled, in this circumstance only the face value of the ticket will be refunded. Tickets can be taken back for resale if the show has sold out. In this instance, a credit note will be issued less a 10% admin fee. CONCESSIONS

Where offered, concessions prices related to Under 16s, full-time students, senior citizens, unwaged and the registered disabled may be asked for proof of your discount eligibility. A family ticket constitutes four tickets of which at least one must be an adult and one other must be a child. Only one discount can apply to a ticket. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

GROUP BOOKINGS

We welcome group bookings for any performance, and discounts are available where stated. Group bookings will be held for one month or until a sellout whichever is sooner. Please advise us if any of your group has specific access needs, or requires a wheelchair position. For further information please call the Box Office. Group bookings also receive an extended reservation period.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

Smoking, the use of electronic cigarettes and the use of cameras or any kind of recording apparatus such as mobile phones is strictly prohibited in the auditorium. Latecomers may be asked to wait for a suitable pause in the programme before being shown to their seats. Changes to the programme, cast, seating and pricing are at the discretion of the management.

ACCESSIBILITY

Accessible wheelchair spaces Seating and spaces for wheelchairs with extra room are available in the auditorium. Please email albanarenaticketing@ everyoneactive.com if you require wheelchair accessible seats as these cannot be booked online.

Changing places facility Located next to the toilets by the Civic Centre Car Park. Pass can be collected from the Civic Centre during its opening hours.

Toilets Disabled toilets are situated on the ground floor by our Box Office and Kiosk bar. Please note we have no lift. Additionally, Drovers Way Car Park or Civic Centre Car Park have a disabled toilet which is open until 7pm.

Parking The venue does not have its own car park. The nearest car park is Civic Centre Car Park which is within 200m and has blue badge parking bays available. Please note that customers displaying blue badges may park on the double yellow lines adjacent to The Alban Arena for up to three hours.

Hearing assistance system there is an infrared hearing assistance system in place at the venue which is suitable for use in all seats.

Access throughout building There is level access at the entrance of the Arena.

GETTING HERE

The closest car park to the Arena is the Civic Centre car park, which operates on a pay & display basis. For all up to date information on parking, please visit St Albans City & District Council’s car parking guide. For sat navs, use the postcode: AL1 3LD.

Alban Arena has great public transport links; St Albans Train Station is a 15 minute walk and there are various bus stops a 5 minute walk away in the town.
