Points will be awarded as follows: 1st prize 3 points, 2nd prize 2 points, 3rd prize 1 point and exhibits must be entered under the same names at the relevant shows, to be eligible. CLASS 107 Home-Made Cup of Tea Cake (15cm18cm/6-7in approx) made with the following ingredients: 113gm/4 oz butter, 1 cup of tea, 225gm/8 oz Mixed Dried Fruit – Put these ingredients into saucepan & bring to boil, then simmer for 5 – 10 minutes, then allow to stand for a while – at least 30 minutes, maybe overnight. 225gm/8 oz S R Flour, 113gm/4 oz Moist Brown Sugar, 1 teaspoon Mixed Spice, 1 teaspoon Bicarbonate of Soda. Put these dry ingredients into a bowl & rub together. Then add the wet ingredients and 1 Egg, mix together and put into the greased and lined cake tin.
