OT Equator universal implant system SEEGER BRIDGE fixed prosthesis

The SEEGER BRIDGE fixed prosthesis can be considered as the evolution of the concept of a fixed bridge screwed onto implants, while maintaining stability and the ability to easily inspect them. The revolutionary concept of this type of prosthesis resides in the retention system, which not only relies on screws but also on an elastic element called SEEGER positioned in the undercut of the attachment. The realization of any pontic is a simple operation thanks to the calculated tolerances between the attachment and the prefabricated components used to construct it. Screwing the prosthesis into place assures a secure stability because the slightly conic connections between the OT Equator attachment and the bridge structures match perfectly to one another. The locking of these two elements is obtained thanks to a slightly elastic snap ring called SEEGER, that is interposed in the undercut of the hemisphere. The system is completed with the traditional titanium screws. With this methodology the stress load is distributed amongst several retentive components and the risk of the screws breaking or coming loose is considerably reduced. This system has the prerogative of simplifying all the phases of the technique of screwing a fixed prosthesis onto implants, whether it be loaded immediately or differed and even with a disparallelism of more than 30째. The system is presented as a universal technique thanks to the availability of the OT Equator constructed for every implant system being used today. In addition it can resolve, with incredible simplicity, cases in which different implant systems were used and it is necessary to replace a preexisting fixed overdenture prosthesis with a new one.
