LAS CARRETAS MEXICAN RESTAURANT Plan ahead before visiting this temple of Mexican cuisine with a seven-page menu and 20 different margaritas. Start with well-balanced ceviche and three types of tamales. Opt for one of the lesser-known taco fillings like lengua, tripe or beef cheek for a street-stand experience. ILLUME The new ninth-floor Japanese fusion lounge at the JW Marriott Bonnet Creek is gorgeous inside, with serene and stunning panoramic views of Epcot and surrounding Lake Buena Vista. Come for the creative cocktails and stay for the fireworks for a romantic date night or elegant start to a celebration. Closed Monday and Tuesday. GATLIN HALL BREWING Another excellent option on South Orange Avenue for happy hour, casual weeknight eats and leisurely weekend hangs. Tyler Rosenberg, formerly of Tampa’s Cigar City, is the brewmaster, and the 12-plus taps feature Florida-only brews. GORDON RAMSAY FISH & CHIPS Pricey boxes of fish and chips are the draw at Gordon Ramsay’s Icon Park chippie.
