Not Difficult to Land that Job Interview Anymore! The first cry of his baby, and the father has already made up endless dreams in his head as he stares down at those tiny fists and that innocent face - my child will be a doctor, my child will be an engineer, my child will grow up and help me take care of this house and my work, and so much more just in that split second of a moment. Everyone in today’s day and age goes through a standard cycle of life. You Pee and Poop as a kid, throwing stuff around, living it up! (Yes, I do believe that, that is the only time one is carefree, where dreams have no bounds, where magic is real! We keep losing that spirit as we grow older, no?) Then comes school life- text books, friends, rejections, achievements, discovering yourself as a person, learning the meaning of competition, fights, swings and slides, gossip and talks, punishments, eating in class, getting kicked out for not doing the homework, exams… and the list goes on.
Then follows the College stint, a little more growing up, strengthened friendships, the bunking, the dating, the heart breaks, the bike rides, the late night partying, the assignments, the movie plans… We get educated in what we love, what we see as our career, what we think we would love to do every day for the rest of our lives. But at the end of the day, it is not just about passion, you have to make that money, that’s what makes the world go round, that’s what pays the rent, that’s what buys you the little luxuries in life. After you finish your education, now is the hardest part- getting a job; and not just getting any job, one that you would like doing, one you would excel at and the one that uses your personal strengths to the optimum and helps you grow as an individual.
