Introduction Your Personal Safety Logbook is an important document and serves as ongoing proof of your specialist qualification and training. Please present it at your training courses, so that the course organizers can fill in the relevant details! Constantly evolving technologies, as well as global competition make it absolutely essential to continue training, learning and updating your personal skills. In addition, it is important to be able to recognize and describe risks and to follow established guidelines to prevent accidents at work, occupational diseases and the health risks associated with various jobs and professions. For this reason, the law relating to safety and health (–> Arbeitsschutzgesetz ArbSchG, German Occupational Safety and Health Act) as well as the requirements of the employers’ liability insurance associations specify initial training and annual updates for many different areas. You too should qualify for the necessary areas and functions, which in turn will give you confidence within your chosen spheres of activity.
