Sketchup Surface Tools (Driveway and Residence)
This assignment allowed students to practice generating a surface from a map of countours. Contours were traced freehand and then made into a surface using a Sketchup extension. Then, a house was selected from the 3D Warehouse and set onto the site, making sure it was situated correctly with the “From Contours” tool.
