How It Works Southbound freight travels through our U.S. network to the U.S./Mexico border. Once your freight is cleared by customs, a drayage carrier delivers your shipment to our designated carrier in Mexico. Our carrier then delivers your freight to the ultimate consignee. Northbound freight is coordinated by Mexico specialists on our Customer Care team. Once your shipment has crossed the Mexico/U.S. border, it is delivered to a nearby Estes terminal and routed through our system for delivery.

FAQS Where can I get Canada and Mexico shipping forms?

Forms and instructions for shipping to and from Canada and Mexico are available in our convenient Forms Library at estes-express.com. Do I need a customs broker?

Yes, a customs broker is required in virtually every case, but it’s usually the importer who chooses the broker. How do I track my Canada or Mexico shipment?

The same way you would track your domestic freight. Just go to the Shipment Tracking tool on estes-express.com and enter your PRO number. Or call 1-866-ESTES4U (378-3748) and press 414. CANADA: How should I submit my customs documentation?

Simply email your customs documentation to us in a single file (as a PDF or TIF) no later than the day of pickup, and no later than 2 p.m. for next-day freight delivery. For northbound freight, send your email to estespars@estes-express.com. For southbound freight, email us at estespaps@estes-express.com. Please include only one PRO and one attachment per email. The subject line of your email should be the PRO number only—no spaces, dashes, or words. On the BOL, please include your PRO and barcodes. The online BOL application in My Estes will automatically generate a barcode when you check the “Assign PRO Number” box or enter a preassigned PRO. You can also ask your account manager for PRO/barcode stickers. Barcodes help ensure freight is processed immediately. When should I forward the documents to Estes for my northbound Canada shipments?

Your documents should be sent no later than the time of pickup, and no later than 2:00 p.m. the day of the pickup for next-day freight. MEXICO: Does Estes offer expedited services to Mexico?

Yes, Estes offers guaranteed ground expedited service from the U.S. to all points in Mexico, as well as air service through Estes Forwarding Worldwide.
