FAQS

Where can I get Canada and Mexico shipping forms?

Forms and instructions for shipping to and from Canada and Mexico are available in our convenient Shipping Forms and Documents at estes-express.com.

Do I need a customs broker?

Yes, a customs broker is required in virtually every case, but it’s usually the importer who chooses the broker.

How do I track my Canada or Mexico shipment?

You can track your Canada shipment—or Mexico shipment on the U.S. side of the border— the same way you track your domestic freight. Just go to the Shipment Tracking tool on estes-express.com and enter your PRO number.

For phone assistance on Canada shipments, call 1-866-378-3748, then press 43. For French Canadian support, call 1-888-588-0750. For phone assistance on tracking Mexico shipments on either side of the border, call 1-866-378-3748, press 414.

CANADA:

How should I submit my customs documentation?

Simply email your customs documentation to us in a single file (as a PDF or TIF) by the day of pickup, and by 2 p.m. for next-day freight delivery. For northbound freight, send your email to estespars@estes-express.com. For southbound freight, email us at estespaps@estesexpress.com

Please include only one PRO and one attachment per email. The subject line of your email should be the PRO number only—no spaces, dashes, or words.

On the BOL, please include your PRO and barcodes. The online BOL application in My Estes will automatically generate a barcode when you check the “Assign PRO Number” box or enter a preassigned PRO. You can also ask your account manager for PRO/barcode stickers. Barcodes help ensure freight is processed immediately.
