Lessons & Leagues The Arena Division provides a wide range of programming and events that appeal to all members of the community. The Division strives to efficiently manage all facilities and maximize use by providing affordable programs and events that the community can be proud of. Power Skating Instruction The single most important skill for hockey players is skating. With instruction provided by certified power skating instructor Karen Westby-Bulger, this program focuses on balance, power, agility, speed, and skill development. This program is not intended for beginners; participants are required to have a minimum of 2 years of skating and hockey experience. Full hockey dress, CSA approved helmet, and stick are required. *No class March 17. **The first two weeks of the spring session will take place at the Kinsmen Arena. Evinrude Centre Tu

Northcrest Skating School This program is for children who are beginners and want to learn how to skate and increase their skills in a fun environment with certified instructors. A CSA approved helmet, warm clothing, and mittens are required. Instructor: Bonnie Lynn Porter and certified assistants.

Parent & Tot Skating School This program introduces children to ice skating using a fun learning environment. Children will learn how to stand, fall and get back up, and the basics of forward skating. Both child and parent/guardian are required to wear a CSA approved helmet with face mask, warm clothes, and skates. Parents must have basic skating skills.
