Message from the Mayor On behalf of Council and staff, I invite you to browse the Fall and Winter 2019/2020 Town of St. Marys Recreation and Leisure Program Guide. Inside, you’ll find programs for all ages as well as swimming and skating schedules. Don’t forget to save the date for municipal events such as Doors Open St. Marys (September 28), the St. Marys Craft Show (November 2), WinterLights (November 15 to January 5) and more! Recreation and leisure services play a vital role in our community. Staff are working hard to continue implementing the Town’s Recreation and Leisure Services Master Plan, which was approved by Council in 2018. One of the first tasks they achieved was to develop a Strategic Business Plan for the Pyramid Recreation Centre (PRC). This plan outlines how staff will aim to increase facility usage and program participation, enhance customer service and improve efficiency of operations. For more details, please visit www.townofstmarys.com/rlsmp. To find out more about Town programs and services, please call our switchboard at 519-284-2340 ext. 0. You can also visit us online at www.townofstmarys.com or follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Wishing you and your family a safe and active fall and winter! Sincerely,
Al Strathdee, Mayor
