Pickering Township Council 1811 - 1849

Prior to 1850, there were no Reeves or Councillors. The elected (more often acclaimed) tiles were: Town Clerk, Assessors, Collectors, Pathmasters, Poundkeepers, Town Wardens, and Fenceviewers. The position of the most authority was the Town Clerk. The following lists the Town Clerks for the years prior to the first elected officials in Pickering starting in 1850. 1811 – 1822
