Starting September 21, 2020, the Escondido Public Library is open to the public at limited capacity Monday-Saturday, from 10:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. For health and safety, all persons who enter the Library building are required to wear a mask over their nose and mouth, and maintain six feet of distance from others. In-person services are subject to change per the State and County Public Health Orders.

No overdue fees will be charged until January 1, 2021. All items can be returned in the outdoor book drops, located in the Library parking lot, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Items will be checked in after a 5 day quarantine period.

Escondido Public Library offers curbside pickup for holds on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M. and Wednesdays from 2:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M. Visit www.escondidolibrary.org/curbside for more information. Holds can also be picked up on the selfservice shelves inside the Library during open hours.

eBooks, eAudiobooks, and streaming video are all available through Escondido Public Library’s website! Use OverDrive or CloudLibrary to read eBooks, or listen to eAudiobooks.
