The beautiful weather has golf season in full swing! We are adding new staff in every department so you may see new or familiar faces returning to the club With increased staffing, we are getting the bag drop attendants out and working on increasing food and beverage service. We have opened entry for our annual Women's and Men's Member Guest and spots are filling quickly. If this is an event you are interested in, be sure to get your entry into Matt Brandt or the golf shop as soon as possible.

Hello PRGC Membership,

Our Pumpkin family continues to grow as we ’ ve welcomed 8 new members to our membership group over the past month! As our growth continues, please engage, and introduce yourself to any fresh faces at the club when you have an opportunity!

The 2022/2023 Discover Membership program is still active, and we have a couple spots available. The cost is $1,500.00 and includes 3 complimentary guest passes, along with some nice Pumpkin Ridge apparel Let me know if you have anyone interested, it is an easy enrollment.

Initiation Fee update: our Initiation Fees are still at $10,000 00 (Junior Executive (under 40 years old)) and $20,000 00 (Full Golf (over 40 years old))

As always, we continue to ask for everyone ’ s commitment with scheduling (and cancelling) tee-times correctly/accurately via EZ Links in order to maximize access for all members THANK YOU!

As a heads up - the Referral Rewards program will be changing in 2023 so that referring members will qualify for a bi-annual golf trip. Stay tuned and more to come….. ��

Men's Member Guest | August 10-12, 2023

Please plan on joining us August 10-12, 2023 when Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club will host its Annual Member-Guest Invitational This popular event regularly fills up, so please mark your calendars and register as soon as possible. Entries will be prioritized by the date they are received, with the early entries receiving first priority in reserving practice round tee times. Entries deadline is Saturday, July 15th.

We are very excited to host this premier event and hope you will be able to join us. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact Director of Golf, John Kawasoe in the Witch Hollow Golf Shop at 503.647.2501.

Tournament Dates and Entry Procedures

Practice Rounds August 9 & 10, Tournament Rounds August 11-12

Practice round requests will be honored by date and time stamp of completed entry.

Entries will be accepted May 16th through July 15th, 2023.

Entries will be accepted via email (mbrandt@pumpkinridge.com), hand delivery, or mail before the deadline date listed above.

Field is limited to the first 96 teams registered, based on registration date and time stamp.

Event Fee is $1,350 per team. ½ billed in June, ½ in July. No refunds after July 15th, 2023.

**REQUIRED** Guests without a current GHIN handicap or equivalent will play to a course handicap of zero. Guests with professional status will be eligible for gross prizes only.

The courses are responding as expected to the bulk fertilizer application that was made a couple weeks ago Some good color is starting to show as well as a bit of top growth that should help us recover from the day-to-day wear and tear.

We have hired a landscaping contractor to maintain all of the flower beds on the property They should be here next week to start cleaning things out in preparations for some new plants and a much-needed pop of color

We are excited to be receiving some of the new equipment very soon!First will be the sprayers, then the fairway mowers, followed by the small rough mowers The GCM service technicians have done an excellent job keeping the old units operating over the last 2 years as the team waited for these new units to be delivered A huge shout out to Nickko Skinner and Mike Evans for all that they do to ensure the GCM team has the tools we need to perform all the tasks on the golf course!

The Ghost Creek Golf Course has never been better! Conditions are flawless, the weather is beautiful, and it is an absolute must play right now! We have reinstated the Marshal/Starter program on the weekends here at Ghost to try and help the pace of play and get all the tee times out in a timely and organized manner. Also, the Ghost Creek practice range is now o grass Friday-Sunday!

Ever wondered why you hit it really well on th range, but it doesn't translate to the course? Sounds like all you need is an on course playing lesson to get a second perspective on what you need to do to stripe golf shots just like you do on the range!
