The size is 30 inches x 15 inches and this was made in grade 12. I really enjoy fantasy creatures and a dragon is one that I am fascinated by. Dragons are interesting and they can have a variety of looks. They can resemble a reptile with their skin having scales and long snouts. I think that dragons look amazing when they are breathing fire so that is why my dragon is doing that.
When drawing my dragon I used shapes by using different paint strokes to show the scales on the skin and for the horns and the webbing. I used the sponge technique and the bold strokes to make the fire. There is some value with the mixing of the shades in the fire and there is a pattern being formed with the scales on the dragon.
