Millan is one of the 13 barangays of the municipality of Sibunag, province of Guimaras.

Long time ago, there was a rich couple who live a very luxurious life. They were blessed with one and only daughter, she was baptized and given the name Emilliana. She grew into a lovely maiden at the age of eighteen. Her enchanting beauty was beyond compare. This made her known all throughout the land. Many wealthy young men have dreamed to be her lover.
However, Emilliana’s happy time did not last long. Nobody knew that Emilliana has destined to have a morbid safe. She was doomed to suffer and live in loneliness. A daughter of an evil woman has jealous of her popularity in put Emillina into spell.
One day, three handsome respectable prince named “Buntok, Tigbi and Dinalman” come from a faraway land just to win Emilliana’s heart. They were all attracted by her majestic looks. They all wish to court her and aspired to be her husband.
To know who deserved Emilliana’s loved and attention that three admirers were put into a tough competition. They were to wage war against one another. They were commanded to bring their men and engaged in battle. The strong, the bravest and the one who remained after the war would get the hands of Emilliana. So a bloody revolution among prince Buntok, Tigbi and Dinalman together with their men took place.
Emiliana herself witnessed the terrible fight. She had proven how someone each prince was on their courtship for they were willing to risk their precious life.
Unfortunately, none of the three prince stood alive after the battle, all contenders lay dead on the ground covered with their owned blood. Emilliana was left sobbing and in great sorrow for she wish that one of them would become her husband. She couldn’t do anything but accept her fate,
Prince Buntok, Tigbi and Dinalman were buried. After several days three mountain rose in the place where they were lain. In remembrance of their great courage and determination, these mountains were named their honor. That is why now, the three towering and lush mountains surrounding the Barangay are called Mount Buntok, Mount Tigbi and Mount Dinalman. Beside these mountains is a source of water that never runs dry. This is believed to be the tears of Emilliana that flowed profusely due to the death of her aspiring suitor. Barangay Millan got its name from Emilliana.
