The Team: Presentation: We are a professional cycling team from Guam, (Guam’s first Pro Cycling Team) registered as a Continental Team with the international cycling governing body the UCI. The team consists of a majority of riders from Guam but also includes riders of many different nationalities to create a truly international and diverse team that best represents our diverse international racing calendar. Our more experienced international riders are here to help develop our Guam riders to achieve new heights on the international scene. All members of the team are passionate about the sport of cycling and love to travel to far-away lands and meet new and different people. The team aims to inspire and encourage people of all backgrounds and ages to lead a healthy and balanced lifestyle through sport and specifically cycling.

The team’s ethos is what drives our group. While every team wants to win races, this team is about more than racing. Bike racers have a natural drive to race and to win. This is the standard goal of any sports team and we have had impressive results over the years, including stage and overall wins in Pro races in Europe, China and African. The primary goal of the team’s ethos aims to create a pressure-free atmosphere to enable each individual to evolve in a balanced and respectful way to achieve their and team’s best. Our short to long term goals are to send a rider from Guam to the 2024 Olympic Mountain Bike race in Paris. We also aim to send a rider from Guam to the World Cycling Champions over the next 4 years minimum.

Development & PARIS 2024 Olympics: The term “development” in the sport of cycling is too often associated with the development of young riders into top level professionals. The development of cycling should not be reduced to this single interpretation. Although our team relishes the opportunity to help young riders benefit from our more experienced riders to help progress their cycling careers, we are also driven by the possibility to help develop cycling on a larger scale. The development of cycling means getting more people involved in the sport, regardless of their age or goals.

Our long term goals include the implementation of a support structure to achieve Olympic Mountain Bike Selection for a rider from Guam, as well as our rider Thomas PEYROTON DARTET who is pre-selected for the French National Paralympic team for Paris 2024.

Thomas suffered a bad accident while leading the Tour of Tahiti in 2017, but overcame adversity to return to Pro Level cycling as early as 2018 and has been improving ever since.

During this trip you will be based out of the town of Gaillac in the Tarn region in southern France. This area is the oldest vineyard in France and offers some spectacular and varied riding.

Our Base will be a 3 Star hotel located within walking distance of the old-town and the local restaurants and cafes. All rides will start from here, giving you plenty of time to recover and enjoy the local area as well as getting in a solid week of cycling.
