Meg came to Episcopal from Shakespeare & Company, a professional theater company in Massachusetts, where she worked as an actor, artist-in-residence for the education department, and director of the young artist summer training program. Before that, she launched theater programs at Trinity Pawling School in New York and Cannon School in North Carolina. Meg earned her bachelor’s degree in English and theater from Wesleyan University and her graduate degree from the Chicago College of Performing Arts. In addition to directing and designing the theatrical productions at EHS, she teaches Acting 1, Acting 2, and Introduction to the Arts. She also serves as faculty sponsor for 360, a club that produces a variety of performance events for the school community. Meg lives on Dalrymple Dorm.

Kimberly G. Olsen 2004 CHAIR OF SCIENCE PH.D. INDIANA UNIVERSITY B.S. RHODES COLLEGE

Kim became chair of Episcopal’s Science Department after serving eight years as an associate professor of chemistry at Loyola College in Maryland. She was a tenured professor teaching general and analytical chemistry and a research associate at the National Institute of Standards and Technology. A graduate of Rhodes College, Kim pursued her doctoral degree in analytical electrochemistry and enjoys sharing her passion for science with students at Episcopal. In addition to her responsibilities in the Science Department, Kim serves as a member of the Harrison Dorm team and as an advisor to the yearbook, “Whispers,” and the Science Olympiad team. When asked what she likes most about teaching at Episcopal, she said that she “enjoys the close connections that I am able to make with students in a 100 percent boarding community. I love seeing young people grow and discover something about themselves as they gain academic and personal confidence day by day.” Kim and her husband, Kaj, live on campus with their sons, Stefan and Erik.
