Hello Maite,
How are you? How is your work going? If you're feeling stressed and tired of working, I recommend taking a short vacation.
If you don't know where to go, I suggest visiting Kilkenny, the smallest city in Ireland, located near the River Nore. It has beautiful medieval buildings and a castle.
When I stayed there for five days last year, I saw that it's an ideal place to relax, enjoy nature, or visit monuments around the city. In the evenings, you can enjoy the pubs with traditional music and a great atmosphere.
Think about it!
See you soon, my friend.

“PHEASANT
ISLAND” AT STAKE
by IKER FERNÁNDEZ ( C1 )
It is well known that France and Spain are not experiencing their best economic moment ever, and as President Macron has announced, “a solution must be found right now ” Aware of this, the Spanish President, Pedro Sanchez, sent a suggestion that could be interesting to both countries: a TV show where the winner wins “Pheasant Island” for their country, forever
At first, the French government totally rejected the idea. The island has historical significance, as Spain and France signed a peace treaty there, and since 1856 each country has administered it for six months at a time Nevertheless, after reading the proposal, French authorities completely changed their mind.
A pay-per-view survival show on which two participants must survive on the island with nothing but their clothes and a knife.

Thus, a pay-per-view survival show will feature two participants who must survive on the island with nothing else but their clothes and a knife. Each contestant will represent their country, and the last person standing on the island will win the big prize. The rules are simple: physical interaction won't be allowed between the challengers, and any help from outside the island will be penalized with automatic disqualification Surrendering will be possible and a neutral medical team could also decide if a contestant should surrender.
The French government has already started the selection process, trying to find the most complete and skilled person in France to win the contest. In Spain, however, the president shows no worries, “Any Basque farmer could live there for years,” he assures
The show is due to start on the first day of 2026, and I personally don’t know which country will win. I just hope they won’t open a Zara store there if Spain wins.
“AnyBasquefarmer couldlivethereforyears,”
The winner of the video contest is SEGUNDO PÉREZ, who is doing A1 this year at Irun's EOI HEO.
