Mr Cook is a Director at BDO Capital Advisors, LLC, bringing over nine years of diverse experience across tax structuring, capital raising, corporate finance, assurance, operations, marketing, and compliance He has developed deep expertise in ESOPs, with more than seven years of specialized experience in this area. At BDO Capital, Jacob plays a key role in transaction execution and structuring within the ESOP Advisory Group. He also provides technical guidance on GAAP and tax matters through BDO USA’s Tax Technical Desk, supporting both BDO USA clients and BDO Alliance member firms.

Timothy Garbinsky is the communications director at the NCEO In his role, Tim works with volunteers, allied organizations, and the press to creatively and effectively disseminate information about employee ownership and advance the NCEO's mission. He earned his BA from Duke University in 2009 and has since worked as a content creator and an educator, skills which he transfers to the NCEO. Originally from the D.C. metropolitan area, Tim now lives in California's Central Valley with his wife and son.

Ed is president and CEO of SES ESOP Strategies and co-chair of the ESOP Group and the Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Group at Stevens & Lee, an affiliated company of SES ESOP Strategies He concentrates his practice on helping companies navigate the complexities of employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs) In this capacity, Ed advises business owners on ESOPs, which typically involves working with the company to first determine the feasibility and impact of creating an ESOP, consulting on whether the ESOP accomplishes the goals of the relevant stakeholders, designing the appropriate structure to accomplish those goals, implementing the transaction, and then assisting the company with the ongoing administration and compliance of the ESOP.

Tim Rettig is a second-generation serial ESOP entrepreneur Tim started Intrust IT in 1992 while in college at the University of Cincinnati As the company grew, it was ranked on the Inc 500|5000 list six times and has been recognized as a Best Place to Work in Cincinnati twelve times. Tim transitioned the company to be employee-owned via an employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) in 2019, just like his father Jay Rettig did with his company Software Solutions in 2004 Tim has a life goal to create over 10,000 employee-owners through his advocacy of employee ownership.
