Inspired by history’s greatest philosophers and astronomers, join Australia’s most celebrated world music group for a theatrical musical experience that is out of this world. Blending stunning vocals in three languages with live music and collage animation, The Birth and Death of Stars is a surreal and inspirational journey into the ether from multiaward winning creatives. Sitting comfortably between music and theatre, the show is brought to the stage by group of outstanding musicians and songwriters from around the world. Led by enchanting French vocalist Pauline Maudy (Australian Folk Music Awards Artist of the Year 2023), it will mesmerise you with inspired performances on accordion, violin, shah kaman, percussion, double-bass and guitar. Take a step away from the everyday and contemplate our place in the universe to the sounds of some of Australia’s most uniquely diverse musicians and composers.
