New Graveyard Site Plan Phase 1
This new design maximizes the plot space for the area with 513 plots; it includes space for up to 1,000 niche columbarium's for urns; the design maintains all existing site trees, majority of plots are placed head to the west and feet to the east as per existing graveyard.
Includes concrete pads for long-term headstone stability and organized plot plan and layout. Includes site fencing, perimeter sidewalk, landscaping trees, shrubs, flowers, interior paved utility driving aisle, LED site lighting, ash scattering, and memorial garden.
The new site will undergo a complete soil remediation process during construction. Site construction is expected to begin on September 1, 2023.

Congratulations to Kemper Morin (age 11) and the War Chiefs for winning the Gold Medal second year in a row at the Alberta Indigenous Games (A.I.G). for lacrosse. Kemper is goalie for the War Chiefs in lacrosse. Nothing has stopped this young man as he was also awarded an Award of Courage from the Archery in the Alberta Indigenous Games (AIG)
Parents of Kemper Morin are Brent Morin and Priscilla Gully. Way to go Brent and Priscilla, both of you must be proud parents! Good Job! Way to Go Kemper and War Chiefs! Congratulations!

Congratulations Kemper Morin for winning award of Courage in Archery at the AIG
Congratulations to our daughter Jordynn for getting a bronze medal in volleyball at the 2023 Alberta Indigenous Games.
After a long week of battling it out on the courts, the team finished 3rd overall for their division, Mini Women Division 2.
Jordynn joined the Rainy River First Nations Thunderbirds Volleyball
team to help them out to a 3rd place finishing.
Rainy River First Nations is an Ojibwe First Nation Band from Emo, Ontario, Canada, Treaty 3 territory.
A great experience for Jordynn that she will never forget.
