The Latest Bikes to Launch In 2016 

BMW G310R

The BMW G310R is the brand’s first roadster in the under-500cc segment. The sports bike is suitable for beginners and is powered with a liquid-cooled fuel-injected four-valve DOHC 313cc Single that is capable of producing a 33.5 HP at 9500 rpm and a 20.7lb-ft. torque at 7500rpm. The model will be wearing a little less than full-fairing coverage and is anticipated to be a direct competitor to Honda’s CB300F and KTM’s 390 Duke. No wonder why BMW always manages to be a part of the latest bikes trends every year.



Ducati XDiavel

This model is already considered to be the world’s first ‘belt-driven DUC’ and is far from done when compared with the other new models. The vehicle is powered by a Testastretta V-Twin of 1262cc and comes with a Desmodromic Variable Timing that is capable of producing a torque of 95lb-ft at 5000 rpm and a 156 HP at 9500 rpm. This is about 3000 rpm less when compared to other models. However, Ducati claims that the model has been able to retain a cornering performance at 40-degree lean angles. 

Kawasaki ZX – 10 R

This new 10R boasts of a Balance Free Fork and a Brembo brake front-end package. Apart from this, the model also has a litany of electronic rider aids namely Kawasaki Intelligent Braking (KIBS), Kawasaki Launch Control (KLCS), Kawasaki Sports Traction Control (SKTRC), Kawasaki Quick Shifter (KQS) and Kawasaki Engine Braking Control (KEBC).

Moreover, critics are now concerned as to whether the model will make a challenging introduction to the family of other street-going superbikes and live up to the latest bikes trends. 

KTM Super Duke GT

With more fairing protection, addition of saddlebags and a comfier seat, the new GT model is now more suitable for touring and the street than ever. The model retains all the good stuffs like the 173 HP V-Twin and 1301cc and is equipped with heated grips, semi-active WP suspension and cruise control. With the lower foot pegs and the adjustable everything, the current automotive news and trends pointing to the fact that this model may receive another best-of award this year.
