Study assessed obesity, blood glucose, blood lipids, blood pressure, and clinical CVD.

In 2017 – 2018 only 6.8% of U.S. adults had optimal cardiometabolic health. (Decreased from 12% in 1999 - 2000)

• Quite another thing to challenge the way they sleep or exercise or eat.

• The latter are harder to do.

• If the patient can, the data is pointing to a much bigger impact!

• Raises blood glucose and resulting insulin response
