1 out of 7 Americans (14%) is Black. Make Every Friday, Black Friday™ is our movement and multi-platform awareness campaign encouraging all Americans interested in racial equity to take action to close the wealth gap between Black Americans and other Americans at least 1 out of 7 days each week! We created VBP to offer a simple, accessible and elegant solution for those who have a desire to acquire the goods and services they need while leveling the economic playing field and shrinking the wealth gap between Black Americans and others
Black-owned businesses account for approximately 10% of businesses in the United States.
These businesses are continually resource-challenged and the recent global health crisis has exacerbated those challenges There are thousands of Black-owned businesses that are not represented in existing directories and may not have the resources or expertise to market and advertise their products and services Inclusion in VBP is always free to the businesses listed!
ETV developed the Village Black Pages in accordance with our Phase One 25-State*
Strategy Our strategy is based upon the presence of a large Black population or proportional representation in a given state to ensure that our ETV initiatives have a broad yet targeted reach within the communities we serve. 90+% of Black Americans (~43M) and the businesses they own fall within this footprint.
