WHO WE ARE
The County Fair is organized and produced through a collaborative effort between the Board of County Commissioners, Fair Advisory Board, Fairgrounds Corporation, CSU Extension, County staff, and many dedicated volunteers.
Calhan, Colorado, has been the home of the El Paso County Fair since 1905. The Fair has humble beginnings, starting as a potato festival and evolving into an annual community celebration featuring 4-H and FFA youth projects, nightly entertainment, and specialty events.
The Fair aims to provide various activities for all residents and visitors to celebrate El Paso County's history, culture, and heritage. 2026 will mark the 121st event honoring El Paso County's rich history and traditions, providing educational and entertainment opportunities to visitors of all ages.
