JULY 12 - 19 | CALHAN, CO Presented By
The annual El Paso County Fair remains the signature event at the Fair & Events Center, proudly honoring the County’s deep western roots and agricultural legacy. In 2025, we continued this tradition with the theme “A Spudtacular Journey,” marking 120 years of Fair history with a celebration of farming, food, and community pride.
This year’s Fair delivered exciting daily entertainment, including the highflying Thrill Extravaganza, BOOM! Hype Crew, Mad Chad the Chainsaw Juggler, and the ventriloquist act Joe & Friends. New midweek offerings added even more value for guests, including roller skating, youth bull riding, and unique experiences like the Fair Queen makeover and themed contests.
In partnership with the Autism Society of Colorado, Sensory Day returned to the Fair on Tuesday, July 15. From quieter carnival hours to staff trained in sensory support, our team, vendors, and entertainers worked together to create a welcoming environment for all guests.
Each of these enhancements contributed to a dynamic and memorable Fair experience. One that expanded our community reach, grew brand awareness, and exceeded attendance and awareness goals.
This success would not be possible without the steadfast support of the El Paso County Commissioners, executive leadership, staff, volunteers, and dedicated community partners. To relive the highlights of the 2025 El Paso County Fair, scan the QR code to view our wrap-up video.
As a self-sustaining community event produced and managed by El Paso County, the El Paso County Fair continues to deliver a quality, family-friendly environment rooted in tradition and community pride. Our goal is to showcase the County’s rich agricultural heritage and create unforgettable memories for families, neighbors, and visitors alike.
In 2025, we proudly celebrated 120 years of the El Paso County Fair with the theme A Spudtacular Journey. Through a comprehensive and strategic marketing communications plan, we maximized our available resources to generate strong awareness, community engagement, and partner visibility.

Our attendance goal for the eight-day event was 25,000. We surpassed that by more than 5,100 guests.
Programming in 2025 was thoughtfully designed to attract a broader audience and deliver a spudtacular experience. Aligning the Fair Guide with 4-H schedules and vendor hours, especially on grandstand nights, helped maintain activity throughout each day. Weekday arena events were expanded to include new ag-based programming, such as Mounted Shooting, Cutting Horse Competition, Celebrity Master Showman, and Youth Bull Riding, alongside returning favorites like the Rodeo, Auto Races, and Demolition Derby. We also introduced “Give & Gather Day,” a new community-focused theme day, and partnered with vendors to offer Fair merchandise with no upfront cost. These strategic enhancements helped boost attendance while creating memorable experiences and demonstrating our commitment to purposeful, communitycentered planning.
