Rio Hondo had strength and numbers on their side at the Tabor-Venitsky Tournament hosted by Cerritos Community College on February 16-18. On Friday February 16th Gabriela Rodriguez and DYlan Logan were able to break into the elimination rounds representing Rio Hondo in winning bronze. On Sunday February 18, Rio Hondo showed up especially strong and ready for IPDA Debate with a team size reaching the 20’s. The experienced members of the team were joined by many new faces wanting to get a feel of the Speech and Debate

Rio Hondo’s annual Valentine’s themed Club Rush was a two day event that took place in the campus’s midquad, on Feb. 13 and 14. The purpose of Club Rush is to pass out and provide information for each club. It also gives them a chance to raise some money by selling different foods and snacks. Clubs such as AGS (Alpha Gamma Sigma), the Photo League Club, JCPR, the Chinese Culture Club, Drama Club, DREAMERS and even the DSPS (Disabled Students Program & Services) were out selling all types of different foods; from churros for $1, to esquites, which is corn in a
