The Cub Toy

Project Brief

This project was about choosing one of the Olympic games and I chose Montreal 1976. I had to illustrate 2 famous athelets, 2 famous buildngs in Montreal and 2 unique objects to this round. All of that using basic shapes, given color pallet and Illustrator tools (merging, division, etc.).

Museum Application

Project Brief

A redesign of the National Museum of Egyp tian Civilization App using adobe XD. The application includes everything the musuem offers, in addition, inventing a game that allows people to learn about the artifacts displayed. I had to follow material design guidelines for desiging the UI & UX of app.

Cairo Jazz Festival Design

Project Brief

This project is a poster deisgn for Cairo Jazz Festival. Illustrator was used to exper iment with the composition of shapes. Pho toshop for the textures and bitmap. Finally, InDesign for creating tension and between typography. The essence of the composition is jazz music is multilayered overlapping.

Project Brief

The main goal of the project is to design a label design for an existing restaurant.

I chose a startup by my friends called “ Cheese Bomb”. I used Illustrator for creating the composing and applying textures using brushes. In addition, using blending option for the typography to add depth.

Wrestling Poster Design

Project Brief

For this project, it was requested to pick a theme for a wrestling event. The block design had made me learn to emphasis on the important elements and have a hierar chy in deisgn. Also, experimenting with typography to create tension & bitmap for photos. All using InDesign and Photoshop.

Project Brief

In this project it was all about experimenting with blend moods in Illustrator. I tried clipping masks to some of the letters pushing my experimentation more. Afterwards, I used adobe XD for animating one of the designs creating a story behind my composition.

Project Brief

The idea behind this project was to come up with the colors, grid and textures to com municate the story of a hypothetical movie. I was taught about “Color Theroy.” Accord ingly, the complementary color scheme was chosen to complement the genre. In addi tion, experimenting with textures and grids.

Project Brief

In this project, it was required to choose one of the available deconstructed songs, analyze the song’s tempo, and translate it into a relevant grid. Afterwards, come up with a composition after translating the beats into basic shapes and textures.

Storytelling by Composition

Project Brief

This project is about a fictional short story featuring three contrasting characters who interact with each other in different situa tions, based on a choice of nine different words from a list of keywords. Through this project I learned creating compositions with basic shapes and textures.

Data Visualization

Project Brief

Research on a celebratory topic (Birthday). Analyzing findings and classifying the data into categories. It was required for each category to get a visual reference for the data they are presenting. Nine illustrations are drawn based on a chosen grid and the photographs.
