Our Miss Brooks, The Junior Play, will be performed on March 31st and April 1st. The play is about an English teacher, Miss Brooks (played by Susie Naylor) who ends up having to sponsor the play. She is romantically in love with the coach (Nick Husson) and she knows they will always be fighting over the gym since she is director of the play. Many problems arise because the star athlete, Ted (Ronnie Wheeler) quits the team to have the leading part in the play. One of the student's mothers is on the school board and she gets all hairy because her sweet little daughter doesn't get a part! Miss Brooks has many public and private problems arising. Come and
see how she solves them. The play is humorous and lively... Miss Arthur says, "I chose the play because Miss Brooks has my reactions to sponsoring a play. The students are really eager to work at it, though." The other parts in the play are: Mr. Wadsworth (John Furry), Jane (Jill bowen), Miss Finch (Debbie Edens), Miss Audubon (Vicki Dearien), Miss Allen (Nancy Ross), Rhonda Allen (Pam Montague), Students: Debby Morrison, Prscilla Hinkle, Sandy Bostic, Rachel Cross, Doug Snow, Rusty Harper, Debbie Hively, and Janet Darby.
