News Preference Floors has arrived With an extensive range, reliable stock holding and quality service underpinning its offer, Preference Floors has evolved to be an emerging new star within the wholesale flooring distribution network in Australia. With its head office located in Smithfield Sydney, Preference Floors is now providing a diverse range of hard flooring product options Australia wide. The brain child of Sydney based Eddie Liu, Preference Floors has emerged from the existing business formally known as Homemirus. According to Eddie Liu: “With our growth strategy underway the time was right for the business rebranding as Preference Floors to better reflect the core business and its broader distribution and customer base”. Eddie Liu originally established the Homemirus Sydney based model way back in 2006, but the business today is a far cry from those formative years trading bamboo flooring. Preference Floors now offers an extensive range of high demand and proprietary branded hard surface flooring options including KronoSwiss laminate, Prestige oak
flooring, Wicanders cork and the popular Verdura bamboo. With wholesale distribution outlets located in Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney, Preference Floors is now ideally positioned to expand its service offer to include the growing demand from regional and country areas in those States as well. As a part of its growth strategy Mr Liu has recently completed a number of company acquisitions. He said: “With all businesses, the success for Preference Floors will be built on the value the market places on its products and service culture. “We will continue to invest heavily in our popular stock categories and build our human capital with experienced personnel to make sure are best placed to capitalise on the ever changing demands emerging from the retail channels and consumer trends. “A broader Australian and New Zealand distribution footprint is a realistic goal and, with continual product selection and development, we should see a faster roll out of exciting products along with more effective technologically differentiated sales initiatives.”
