Jackson is a handsome eight-year-old Pomeranian cross Chihuahua. He’s a sweet little man who takes his time to trust new people – but if you have some chicken as a treat, this is definitely the way to his heart. Once he’s ready, he enjoys a fuss and to curl up next to you for a snooze on the sofa. Jackson is currently living in a foster home while he waits for his forever home. He makes great company, loves to be near to his humans, settles well, is housetrained, and his foster carers say, ‘he is a joy to spend time with.’ Jackson gets super excited for his walks, but he prefers short strolls and he is looking for rural, peaceful country walks where he does not have to worry about passing lots of people or dogs. He is looking for loving, understanding, and patient adult adopters to care for him. He has good history of living with cats and could live with a dog-savvy cat again in his new home but would prefer to be the only dog. Jackson is being treated for a condition that causes reflux and most likely will need long-term medication and a special diet to manage his condition. His carers can discuss this with potential adopters at application stage. If you think you could give Jackson the loving home that he deserves please take a look at his profile on Dogs Trust’s website www.dogstrust.org.uk/ rehoming to begin the virtual adoption process.
