Risposta possible Canterbury is in the south-east of England. It is a Roman city founded in 43 A.D., but the site dates back to the Iron Age. The area became important when William the Conqueror built the royal castle. Canterbury became an important centre for Christianity when they built the Cathedral. The most important tourist attraction is the “Canterbury Tales”, a re-creation of 14th century England. “Canterbury Tales” was the title of a book written by Chaucer about pilgrims on their way to Canterbury. If you visit this town you’ll have great fun. (90 words)
