Un po’ come cantava Gianni Morandi in Uno su mille ce la fa non conta chi sia a riuscirci, ma il fatto che chiunque, con sacrificio e impegno, può cercare di vincere la propria sfida. Bisogna comunque fare molta attenzione e ricordare che il successo non sta solo nell’arrivare ma nel tragitto.

Che cosa ti piace o ti manca di più della Calabria? Sono un portatore sano di Calabria, la porto con me in giro per il mondo, amo il suo mare, il suo cibo, la sua gente, i suoi dialetti, i suoi proverbi, anche se spesso però la vorrei libera da tutti i problemi che la affliggono e da cui un giorno, spero, si potrà affrancare. Sei molto impegnato su vari fronti del sociale. La Fondazione Forza Ragazzi che porta il tuo nome ne è un esempio importante. Perché senti di doverlo fare? Voglio poter essere un simbolo, un esempio, portare amore. Fare del bene è la cosa più importante che ci sia e se ognuno lo facesse il mondo potrebbe cambiare davvero.

I have no regrets, only important memories which I carry with me every day. Everything I dreamed of on that beach as a boy has come true and now I hope to be a positive example for those who follow me. A bit like the Gianni Morandi song Uno su mille ce la fa (One in a thousand makes it), it doesn’t matter who succeeds, but the fact that anyone, through sacrifice and commitment, can try to win their challenge. But you have to be very careful and remember that “success isn’t only getting there, it’s the journey itself.” What do you like or miss most of Calabria? I’m a “healthy carrier” of Calabria, she’s inside me as I travel around the world. I love her sea, her food, her people, the dialects and proverbs, even though I would like to see her free of all the problems which afflict her, one day, I hope, she will rid herself of them. You are involved in many social battles. The Fondazione Forza Ragazzi which bears your name is an important example. Why do you feel you have do it? I want to be a symbol, an example, to bear love. Doing good is
