Our two-lodge sequence in Patagonia means twice the trout.
Imagine a week of nonstop fishing on Chile’s best waters. At Martín Pescador, your set itinerary is doublecharged with two home bases in two distinct regions. Start by working the banks of the Rio Yelcho with big dries, then hit the Rio Futaleufú and Lago Yelcho to cast at cruising rainbows and browns. We’ll transfer your luggage on day four, so you can stay focused on fishing and maximize your time on the water. At our second location, fish the Rosselot, Pico, and Figueroa from jet boats, pangas, and catarafts with your guides, and don’t forget to pause on your backcast to take in the glacier views.

Highlights
Rio Yelcho Lodge, where you’ll spend the first three nights, is a collection of private casitas tangled in the Valdivian rainforest along the Rio Yelcho. Wood-burning stoves and culture-rich textiles decorate the inside, while glaciers across the river frame your view outside. Walk through the forest canopy to soak in the outdoor hot tub, sit in the sauna, and enjoy chef-prepared Chilean cuisine in our main lodge.

On the fourth day, the team handles your luggage transfer to Rio Rosselot Lodge while you keep your line wet, so you’ll arrive with your belongings waiting for you. This second home base is set along the Rio Rosselot and has spacious lodge suites and wraparound decks. By night, sip Pisco Sours in the hot tub, then gather at the shared dining table for authentic Patagonian dishes.
