Just down the road from Crested Butte, nestled in a pine-covered canyon, is Taylor River Lodge. This private cluster of cabins is primed for adventure. Cast for rainbow and brown trout on our Gold Medal waters, hike through world-famous wildflower meadows, whitewater raft through the canyon, or hit miles of secret single track running through the aspen forest. We’ll bring out the kid in you with camp-inspired fun like a marksman range, axe tossing, and plenty of space to chill out along the roaring Taylor River.

This former general store-turned-private retreat sits on eight acres along the tumbling Taylor River. While the decor keeps the property’s rustic former identity alive, the conveniences are all modern, from steam showers to a dreamworthy bathhouse and spa. Step out the back door and it’s all about fun, with a stocked casting pond, marksman range, and climbing wall.
