We always appreciate a dog friendly establishment and with craft beer taking over the scene, we always love to support our local spots that are dog friendly! Plus it is always fun to go hang out with other dog friends too 8
after hitting the trails or just to keep it casual and socialize. I will also tell you some of my fave drinks from these spots – I’d let you know Tundra’s dads faves but he just enjoys a simple lager or pale ale. Always keep in mind that in order to keep these places dog friendly you should be respect-
ful, always ensure your dog is under your complete control and they don’t misbehave, and clean up after your dog if they have relieved themselves. Keep in mind that breweries can get crowded so it’s best that your dog enjoys people, kids or other pups too!

FIELDHOUSE BREWERY Abbotsford, BC This one is home to us, so we go here often. Plus their patio is actually incredible and a good size. We enjoy going to this place to showcase the Fraser Valley when we have out of town dog friends that want to explore! Plus the food here is delicious with their “farm to table” motto. My fave beer is usually one of their seasonal rotations or just their classic Sour Wheat Gose. Give them a follow on Instagram @fieldhousebrewing
I have to say this is our 2nd favourite (actually I can’t say if it’s first or second place as we love it here so much too) but it is in Chilliwack so it’s not as close to us! Old Yale has a more casual take on their brews and they also allow dogs indoors as their food is actually made outside in a very fun trailer. On a rainy day, it’s ideal to go stop there and get some grub and bring your dog … or just after hiking out in the Chilliwack area, which has a lot of the good trails. My fave is their Poolside Peach Tea Radler but they have some really delicious stouts and porters if dark beer is your jam. Give them a follow on Instagram @oldyalebrewing

There are several breweries down this area and some are not dog friendly but this one thankfully is! Their patio is dog-friendly and they even have some dog gear in their merch shop. CAMP BEER CO. Langley, BC How cute is the theme at this place? We love to camp, we love craft beer, and we love having our dog around us! We enjoy this place as it’s casual and the inside (which is not dog friendly, only to order your beers and go out) has super cozy cabin feels. They have a small menu for food, just enough to hit the spot. As well the owners are dog lovers and when spotted, chances are they will come out and offer you some brew biscuits that one of their employees makes for the dogs! How rad is that? When it comes to the health of our pets, we’ll move mountains to ensure our furry friends have only the best. And while that looks different for all pet owners and their animals’ needs, most of us want peace of mind by knowing what we’re buying, and who we’re buying it from. To purchase our pets’ everyday products – there’s either big-box retail or specialty stores, and it can be confusing to navigate the pros and cons of both. Big-box retail presents challenges that are often solved by the small specialty stores many of us love.

While you become sought after by commercial realtors to fill strip malls, banks still look at you like you’re a liability. sponsor Parkdale Petfest (co-founder), host our annual Charity Walk, host our Vendor Market where we invite 15-35 local pet artisans to sell and display their products. We love to give back to our community. We believe there’s a social responsibility that comes from owning a business and that requires the support of the people who live in your city. That includes supporting their children’s silent auctions and donating t-shirts and other products to pet rescues. This year so far we have had to cancel most of our events but we’re proud to have hosted an online fundraiser and with thanks to our amazing distributors and manufactures raised over $4200 for two local charities.
