Vicky Ho’s career in recruiting is about matching people to the right opportunity. In fact, she put her skills to the test early on during her own first job search. Graduating with a bachelor’s degree in economics, Vicky upended the typical path of crunching numbers and opted instead for a profession centered on connecting people with their passions through recruiting. LEADING WITH EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE April 5 - May 10, 2022 | Tuesdays, 8:30 - 10:30 a.m
COVID-19 changed our workplace interactions from in person to online—communicating via computer screen all day, every day. As managers adapted to leading with technology and remote work environments, it became even more essential to recognize and manage their own emotions, as well as the emotions of their employees, and to create a diverse, inclusive and belonging environment. The Medical Assistant Training Program celebrated its ninth cohort of graduates in September 2021 at a socially distanced ceremony at Vista Community Clinic. Since 2016, 260 students have completed the six-month training program, which combines classroom instruction and practical experience to prepare graduates for work in a variety of healthcare settings.
